General Overview

Notes: Recommended by local bike shop as alternative to the MotoZ Tractionators I had been running. Appreciable improvement over the Motoz. Very stable and significantly more predictable. When pushed seems to let go in a consistent fashion if & when, especially on gravel.
I'm on to my third rear and about to go for a forth. Loving it at the moment and will take a fair amount of convincing to switch at this stage.
If you are constantly getting up it with powerslides etc they do wear quick-ish, but the control and predictability make it worthwhile. Reasonably hard wearing if cruising.
The website claims they are reversible and 'self-sharpening', which I took as total BS on reading, but the central lugs do tend to hold a nice square front edge (if you're wearing them down nice and quick.. heehee). Actually seems to be the truth and I can't see any reason they couldn't be reversed if required.
Paired with the matching front is the best combo I have yet used on a 690.
Warning - brand new on wet tarmac they are terrifying (but so are all knobbly crosses).
