Notes: as you can see this front tyre tread pattern is very widely used (michelin comp 4,michelin s12xc,mitas c19,goldentyre,and shinko) it seems to come down to the rubber compound,with the comp 4 having amazing grip in wet and snotty offroad terrain.
like most knobbly tyres care is needed on the road,and the price for this tyre can be quite steep(i always waited till its on special..)but if tarmac is just something to be endured untill the next adventure spot you cant go wrong!!!
