West Coast Rock Tops

Being in Karamea with such good weather I was reluctantly scheduled to work, however an early morning power cut soon put an end to that. What better excuse to go for a ride! My father and I had cracking weather laid out for us as we rode some fantastic West Coast tracks.

After descending Mt Rochfort we rode the Dennsiton to New Creek track. This is always a great ride with magic scenery

Heading home on the Karamea Highway, the hillsides were brought to life by the native Rata Trees in rich red bloom

A look over the track down into Six Mile Creek, one last track before hitting home

The track was quite beaten up by the recent storms. In this section the track is steep with a creek running down it. Very tricky going, but seriously great fun
