The road in and out was in good nick and easy to ride with the road tyres on.

The road zigzags down from the top.

Once you turn in at Linkwater its windy road all the way. About 300 return from Nelson. Surprisingly the last section of gravel into the bay is real good to ride, a lane and a half I would call it and hard surface. Took about 45 min from the Portage Hotel. It was so peaceful I parked up for the night.
