LS2 - Pioneer Helmet review by harty7

This is the first dual sport helmet I have owned and I am impressed!! Having been riding dirtbikes I've had a variety of helmets including Boeri, Arai, Fox, Soumy, Airoh and what I need in a helmet is for it to be light, fit very well, and have good ventilation and this helmet delivers for a good price.

First of all, at 1350 grams for the medium helmet, it delivers in the weight department. It has a very comfortable feel to it with a plush liner and no pressure points after it's settled in, also it has a very clean feel under the chin and it doesn't get hung up on my jacket and collar like my new O'Neal offroad helmet does.

The ventilation is excellent which is a double-edged sword, as it is a reasonably loud helmet for wind noise - you still need earplugs!! On a cold day a neoprene face mask will be handy!! Having a visor is very handy after 23years of goggles, and the second tinted visor is brilliant!! At $250 it ticks my boxes!! The matt grey with orange trim looks great for the KTM riders out there.
