Clarence River, at long last

Two years in a row I have scratched the Clarence River ride into the calendar only to have mechanical issues let me down at the last minute. With a little extra time up my sleeve and the weather forecast looking good I thought I'd pop up for an overnighter and have a look around. A camera simply doesn't do this place justice, it has to be seen first hand to absorb and appreciate the rugged and vast mountain ranges.

Aside from a front flat tyre five minutes in the bike ran faultlessly over the two days

My base for the night, Palmer Hut. This would have to have been one of the windiest nights I have ever spent in a hut, the hut was swaying creaking and rocking all night!

One final look over the mountains before I return home, great trip, stunning place!
