Christmas Riding and Fishing Trip
After a hectic period winding up work for 2012 it was time to pack the bike with fishing gear and head off for a few days. The trip started off with a few KB riders before I ventured off solo chasing fish, exploring new rivers and roads.

At the Mackley River we bumped into a friendly chap out hunting, he gave us a hand getting the bikes across the swollen Mackley and I gave him a hand dragging a goat across for him!

The day was spent walking around the outside of this lake with an ample supply of small browns

The lake had an endless supply of small browns around the 1/2 to 1 lb mark, 12 came to the net by midday on a mixture of dries and nymphs, this was one of them being sent back on its way
