Overall this rear tyre is very similar in performance to the Michelin T63, however it is easily destroyed by rocky terrain, chunking such that it lost grip at 2000 km vs 3000 km for the T63. Due to this I marked it down in rocky / stoney terrain, and casing / tread quality.

Pretty similar to the TKC80 as far as performance, but once it was getting worn the tyre did not feel as good as the tkc, it wore very flat and left me with a very square profile. The tyre also appeared to be quite small for a 140/80 it is smaller than a 130/80 t63.

As a food stock-up shop there is a reasonable range of food options. As for the coffee and food options they offer, pretty average. If you are looking for a bite to eat a much better option is to go to the Hard Antler.

I really like this tyre for off-road, it performs very well. It is however one of the nosiest tyres I have used on tarmac and the wear rate is not the best. To be expected of course for a off-road oriented and aggressive tyre.

A good tyre for general all-round adventure riding. The compound offers oodles of confidence on the tarmac, at medium PSI it performs well on gravel and general "dry" off-road terrain but it is not the best performer when you hit the really greasy, muddy, rutty stuff.

This is a fantastic tyre, one of my favourites for rides with mostly off-road technical terrain. It is definitely off-road oriented but handles respectably on tarmac. It installs confidence when tackling technical terrain and performs well in most terrain situations.

A fantastic all round adventure tyre behaving well in most terrains. This is my choice for rides with lots of tarmac as it is really nice for cornering yet still performs well off-road

On the day I walked this track I had never intended to do so. I poked my nose up the start of the track for a quick look but simply couldn’t stop and walked right to the end. It is a great walk through stunning bush with frequent views over the outlet stream.

Friendly staff and a neat place with all the antlers hanging from the rafters. Typical pub grub, nothing too healthy but if you're in the mood for fish and chips of the like then this is a good option

A buddy and I stayed here one night while up exploring the area. Lots of motorhomes about but we got a tent space on one of the little private camp spots. Eating tea on the beachfront perched on a rock looking over the ocean was a great way to wind up a day of riding
